Nvidia Shares Rise Over 2% as Jensen Huang Joins Trump's China Trip

Nvidia shares rose more than 2% on an alternate trading platform after the White House said CEO Jensen Huang would join President Donald Trump’s trip to China.
US and European equity-index futures also extended gains, suggesting investors saw Huang’s inclusion as a positive signal for the chipmaker amid US-China tensions.
The move helped offset broader early weakness in chipmakers, with MSCI’s Asia Pacific equities gauge trimming a drop to 0.1% after falling as much as 0.6%.
