Napleton Auto Group Tops Internet Lead Study for 5th Year With 97% Call-Back Rate

Napleton Auto Group posted a 97% phone follow-up rate on web inquiries and took Pied Piper’s top overall internet lead score for a fifth straight year.
Its overall score rose to 93 from 74 in 2022, with 9 in 10 customers getting an email, text or call within 30 minutes and 87% receiving a phone call within 15 minutes.
Pied Piper measured 31 large dealer groups using more than 2,400 website inquiries across 20 response metrics; Napleton finished ahead of Berkshire Hathaway Automotive, Jeff Wyler, MileOne and LaFontaine.
Napleton said daily discipline across BDC teams, sales staff and managers drove the gains, while Pied Piper said AI automation helps speed responses but can still expose gaps when customers need follow-up from staff.
