Cronos CEO Testifies in Andrew Left Trial Over 2018 Citron Report

Mike Gorenstein, Cronos Group’s CEO, told jurors he was stunned by Citron Research’s August 2018 report, which said the cannabis company was overvalued and sent its shares plunging.
Gorenstein, the first prosecution witness Tuesday, said the report wrongly suggested Cronos had misled investors about distribution commitments when the company had disclosed supply agreements that did not guarantee sales.
