Buc-ee’s said it will open first-ever locations in seven states—Arizona, Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, North Carolina, Ohio and Wisconsin—across 2026 and 2027.
2026 openings are slated for Huber Heights, Ohio and Goodyear, Arizona, while 2027 sites include Benton, Arkansas; Ruston, Louisiana; Kansas City, Kansas; and Mebane, North Carolina.
Several projects match the chain’s oversized format: Goodyear is planned at 74,000 square feet with 120 gas pumps, and Oak Creek, Wisconsin is set for a 73,370-square-foot store with 120 pumps in early 2027.
The rollout also includes Murfreesboro, Tennessee and San Marcos, Texas, alongside more travel centers in states where Buc-ee’s already operates.
Founded in 1982, the Texas chain has built its brand on giant roadside stops, including a 75,593-square-foot Luling store billed as the world’s largest convenience store.
