AutoScout24 reduced some software delivery timelines from 2–3 weeks to 2–3 days after rolling out ChatGPT across roughly 2,000 employees and embedding Codex into daily work for about 1,000 builder roles.
The push came as product demands and system complexity rose, prompting the car-marketplace group to use AI for pull-request reviews, large-scale refactoring, technical documentation and post-incident analysis.
A three-month evaluation led AutoScout24 to choose Codex for usability, workflow fit and measurable gains in productivity and code quality, while a cross-functional AI Champions network helped drive adoption inside existing teams.
The company, which serves more than 30 million monthly users and 45,000 dealer partners across Europe and Canada, said it plans deeper AI integration in internal systems and customer-facing products.
