Disney said its 2026 upfront in New York will be its biggest yet, with President of Global Advertising Rita Ferro promising major announcements, surprises and an onstage appearance by new CEO Josh D’Amaro.
Ferro said the pitch to advertisers now spans a full-year slate across Disney+, Hulu, theatrical films headed to streaming, ESPN sports and live tentpoles such as the Oscars, Grammys, Super Bowl and College Football Championship.
She singled out 2 coming reveals: a major announcement from Ryan Murphy and another tied to "Dancing with the Stars," underscoring Disney's mix of scripted franchises and unscripted hits.
The event, held at New York's Javits Center, is D’Amaro’s first upfront as CEO after succeeding Bob Iger and is central to Disney’s push to sell advertisers on the breadth of its audience and live-event reach.
