More than 2,100 homes and businesses in Hendricks, Wayne, Allen and Delaware counties can now access high-speed internet after Comcast completed its latest Indiana broadband buildout.
The expansion is part of Comcast’s $634 million investment in Indiana over the past three years, aimed at narrowing the digital divide in rural communities.
Indiana officials said broader broadband access supports jobs, education, health care and small businesses, framing it as key to the state’s economic future.
Comcast has already finished similar high-speed internet projects in Bartholomew, Carroll, Fayette, Hamilton, Johnson, Marshall and Morgan counties, extending the statewide rollout.
