Three new Chaos Space Marine detachments headline the 11th Edition preview, with Cabal of Chaos, Devotees of Destruction and Murdertalon Raiders each pushing distinct army builds.
Dark Pacts appear to remain intact, while some CSM detachments may lose access to auxiliary Daemon options, leaving open how Chaos allies will work across the new edition.
Devotees of Destruction boosts shooting units such as Havocs and Obliterators, using the revised Heavy rule for frequent +1 to hit and adding a Warpsmith enhancement that heals models after kills.
Chaos Daemons also stay a standalone faction, gaining movement-focused tools including fallback-and-charge, 3-inch engagement range for cavalry-heavy builds and a new Mobile keyword that may ease terrain movement.
The preview suggests 11th Edition will preserve Chaos' current identity while reshaping detachment and ally interactions ahead of broader Legion book updates expected next week.
