March 14, 2027 is set for Conan O'Brien's third consecutive turn as Oscars host, with ABC and the Academy also bringing back executive producers Raj Kapoor and Katy Mullan for a fourth straight year.
ABC had no believed option for a third O'Brien hosting stint, but executives moved to re-sign him after praising his last two performances despite a ratings decline at the 2026 telecast.
Jeff Ross and Mike Sweeney will return as producers for a third time, with Sweeney also writing the show for the 99th Academy Awards at the Dolby Theatre.
More than 200 territories will carry the ceremony, which will air live on ABC and stream on Hulu as Disney and the Academy stick with a team they say has energized the show.
