June 8 is when Apple plans to unveil iOS 27 at WWDC, headlined by a new advanced Camera layout that lets users reorder controls such as flash, exposure, timer and resolution.
The Camera redesign uses movable widgets from a bottom tray, keeps the current default layout for most users, and adds separate control sets for photo, video and a new Siri camera mode.
Weather and Safari are also set for interface changes: Weather gets a Conditions panel for temperature, rain and wind, while Safari's start page adds four top tabs for favorites, bookmarks, Reading List and history.
System-wide tweaks extend the overhaul, with Apple folding search back into tab bars in apps like Music and TV, adding a keyboard slide-up animation, and introducing undo and redo for Home Screen edits.
Will iOS 27's focus on deep customization finally kill the simple user experience that has always defined the iPhone?
By integrating Google's AI, is Apple sacrificing user privacy to finally catch up in the artificial intelligence race?
