$219.99 is the launch price for Scuf’s new Omega wireless PS5 controller, a pro-focused pad with four rear paddles, two side buttons and five programmable “G-Key” macro buttons.
The Omega’s controls and other settings can be configured through Scuf’s mobile app, and the controller also adds trigger stops, a magnetic faceplate and removable face buttons.
TMR joysticks help distinguish it from Sony’s $200 DualSense Edge, positioning the Omega as a premium alternative aimed at durability and customization.
The tradeoff is missing PlayStation signature features: the controller does not include adaptive triggers or haptics.
Is sacrificing the PS5's signature haptics a worthy price for the Scuf Omega's promise to finally end controller stick drift?
At $220, will Scuf's new magnetic stick technology become the industry standard or remain a luxury for only elite gamers?
