Aday Mara is the mock draft’s first major swing at No. 5, with the Clippers projected to replace Ivica Zubac by taking Michigan’s 7-foot-3 center inside the top five.
Mara’s combine showing drove the move: he measured 259.8 pounds with a 7-foot-6 wingspan and a 9-foot-9 standing reach, tied for the second-longest in combine history.
That choice leaves Arkansas guard Darius Acuff for Sacramento at No. 7, where the Kings are projected to grab a polished scorer after a strong combine showing and long-standing ties to GM Scott Perry.
The rest of the top of the board stays mostly stable, with Washington still projected to take AJ Dybantsa at No. 1, followed by Utah’s Darryn Peterson, Memphis’ Cameron Boozer and Chicago’s Caleb Wilson.
