Qualcomm has given the Steam Frame its own product page, a small but notable sign that the VR headset may be nearing release.
The page adds little beyond confirming the device uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, but that dedicated listing has fueled fresh launch speculation.
On hardware, the Steam Frame is described as stronger than Meta’s Quest 3, with a more powerful processor, more RAM, slightly higher resolution and variable refresh-rate lenses with foveated rendering.
Quest 3 still holds some feature advantages, including hand and body tracking, leaving the coming comparison centered on raw power versus VR-specific optimization.
