2026 PGA Championship Cuts 156-Player Field to Top 70 at Aronimink

The 108th PGA Championship begins May 14 at Aronimink Golf Club near Philadelphia, with only the top 70 and ties advancing after 36 holes.
That cutoff is looser than a typical PGA Tour full-field event and The Players Championship, which trim fields to the top 65 and ties, but matches The Open Championship format.
Other majors use smaller cuts: the Masters keeps the top 50 and ties from a 95-player field, while the U.S. Open advances the top 60 and ties.
A tie for first after 72 holes will be settled by a three-hole aggregate playoff on Nos. 10, 17 and 18, then sudden death on the 18th if needed.
