iRacing Launches Vision Pro App, Requiring visionOS 26.4 for Sim Racing

iRacing Connect is now live on Apple’s App Store, letting Apple Vision Pro users link the headset to iRacing and bring the sim to a new platform.
Foveated streaming sharpens the driver’s direct line of sight, while Vision Pro blends the physical racing rig with the virtual cockpit so the real steering wheel aligns with the in-game one.
The setup also shows drivers their physical hands on the wheel, aiming to keep racers visually connected to their hardware while increasing immersion.
The app requires visionOS 26.4 or later and extends iRacing’s simulation ecosystem, which spans hundreds of cars and tracks and partnerships including NASCAR, INDYCAR, Porsche and Ferrari.
