Keegan Bradley, 39, opened PGA Championship week at Aronimink by saying he could "smell the northeast" from his deck when asked whether the region brings a different energy.
Bradley said he feels a duty to represent New England and the Northeast in golf, arguing players from the region can still compete despite tougher growing conditions.
Aronimink carries favorable history for him: Bradley won the 2018 BMW Championship there and has also captured the Travelers Championship in Connecticut twice.
The Philadelphia-area major also returns him to the broader Northeast after the 2025 Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black, where his U.S. team lost 15-13 to Europe.
Can Keegan Bradley repeat his past Aronimink magic on a much tougher course setup?
Will the sting from the 2025 Ryder Cup loss fuel or foil his PGA Championship campaign?
