$330 million-in-sales Revere Electrical Supply is set to be acquired by Rexel, giving the French distributor a stronger foothold in U.S. industrial automation across the Midwest.
Rexel said the deal supports plans for more bolt-on acquisitions in the U.S. and Canada as it targets rising demand tied to data centers and manufacturing.
The purchase price was not disclosed, but Rexel described it as its second-largest North American deal since buying Mayer in 2021 for an enterprise value of $456 million.
The Revere transaction extends a sustained North American expansion push, becoming Rexel's 16th acquisition in the region since 2020.
