Samsung Launches One UI 9 Beta for Galaxy S26 in 6 Countries

Samsung said the Android 17-based One UI 9 beta will reach Galaxy S26 users this week in South Korea, Germany, India, Poland, the U.K. and the U.S.
One UI 9 follows last week's stable One UI 8.5 release and yesterday's global rollout, an unusually fast handoff after Samsung had already been testing the new software internally.
New features Samsung highlighted include added Samsung Notes pen and decoration tools, Creative Studio contact cards, Text Spotlight, customizable mouse speed and revised Quick Settings controls for brightness, volume and media.
Samsung has not given a stable-release date, but a July Unpacked event—where it is expected to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Flip 8 and a new Wide Fold—could become the next rollout milestone.
