Bradley Cooper, Ayo Edebiri, Dave Bautista, Finn Wolfhard, Rachel House, Alex Jayne Go and Werner Herzog have joined Bong Joon Ho’s animated feature “Ally.”
The film, in development since 2019 and co-written with Jason Yu, follows a piglet squid in the South Pacific whose world is upended when a mysterious aircraft sinks into the ocean.
Neon, reuniting with Bong after “Parasite,” recently acquired North American rights, while CJ ENM, Penture Invest and Pathé are co-financing and splitting distribution and sales by territory.
Seo Woo-sik is producing “Ally,” which is slated to be completed in the first half of 2027 and released later that year in theaters.
