Marex Launches 1 Relative Value Desk for Fixed Income, Adding 5-10 Second STP

Marex on May 12 launched a relative value execution desk for hedge funds and banks trading complex fixed income and futures strategies, bundling execution, clearing and financing into one service.
The new desk targets a market shaped by higher volatility, fragmented liquidity and rising hedge-fund demand for multi-strategy relative value trades, where timing, pricing accuracy and execution certainty increasingly drive returns.
Purpose-built tools let clients create and price bespoke multi-leg trades, execute them as a single package to cut bid-offer costs and legging risk, and receive post-trade risk into their systems within 5-10 seconds.
Marex said the offering also includes a single principal counterparty model, repo financing and balance-sheet support, plus newly introduced CME-FICC cross-margining to improve capital efficiency across futures and cash Treasuries.
The desk operates across New York, London, Dubai and Singapore, extending Marex's push to offer institutional clients a single global relationship across market access, clearing, financing and technology.
