Imogen Poots and John Reynolds will play Suze and Jon in Prime Video’s live-action adaptation, marking the clearest sign yet that the long-gestating project is moving ahead.
The series adapts Image Comics’ 2013 cult title about a couple who can stop time when they orgasm and use the power to rob banks, a run that lasted 31 issues plus one special before ending in 2020.
Kumail Nanjiani, Emily V. Gordon and Tze Chun are behind the show, with Nanjiani also expected to appear onscreen; LuckyChap and Amazon MGM Studios are producing.
Matt Fraction and Chip Zdarsky are attached as executive producers, but Prime Video has not announced a premiere date for what would be one of its stranger adult comic-book bets.
