Google Wallet is preparing a broader redesign that adds Gmail-linked receipts and invoices, alongside expanded Play Points features inside the app.
Android Authority reported the update will push color theming deeper into Wallet, with ID detail pages adopting the same bold color palette as each card or document.
Play Points pages are also set to gain a progress bar, softer backgrounds, smoother transitions and more unified shapes to make rewards tracking clearer and more practical.
Gmail integration would add a “View email receipt” button, show invoice status such as paid, returned or cancelled, and let users remove receipts from Wallet without deleting the email.
The changes build on Wallet’s latest Android redesign—already rolling out with a new passes layout, search and edit controls—though Google has not said when these new features will launch.
