$247,500 a month is the new ask for Beverly Hills estate Villa Andalusia after the 21,000-square-foot property failed to find a buyer at $50 million.
The nine-bedroom, 18-bath mansion was built in 2006 on 3.6 acres at the former 10050 Cielo Drive site, where Sharon Tate and four others were murdered by Charles Manson followers in 1969.
The current listing emphasizes resort-style features—including two pools linked by a lazy river, waterfalls, a waterslide and multiple bars—while omitting the address's notoriety.
Jeff Franklin bought the land for $6 million and has called the murders "ancient history," but the failed sale suggests the site's past may still deter buyers as the Manson case remains in public view.
Can a $250,000 monthly rent erase the infamous Manson murders from a Beverly Hills estate?
As Manson's followers seek freedom, does the empty Cielo Drive mansion prove some crimes are unforgettable?
