AlterEcho emerged as the winner of the EU-Startups Summit 2026 Pitch Competition after pitching against 14 other finalists in Malta.
More than 1,600 early-stage startups applied, with the field narrowed to 15 finalists spanning sectors including AI, HealthTech, CleanTech and aerospace.
The prize package is valued at over €1 million and includes up to €250,000 from Look AI Ventures, a $220,000 Techstars investment opportunity and up to €434,000 from Malta Venture Capital.
About 2,400 founders, investors and startup enthusiasts attended the two-day summit, which organizers called the event's biggest edition yet.
