Rotoworld’s first 2026 mock draft slots BYU forward AJ Dybantsa to Washington at No. 1 after the Wizards won the draft lottery.
Washington became the first team since 2019 to convert the league’s worst record into the top pick, putting it in position to add a two-way wing the mock says it cannot pass on.
Utah follows with Kansas guard Darryn Peterson at No. 2, while Memphis takes Houston guard Kingston Flemings at No. 3 as Ja Morant’s future with the Grizzlies remains unsettled.
The lottery also reshaped other teams’ outlooks: the Clippers gained Indiana’s No. 5 pick after the Pacers fell out of the top four, while Brooklyn and Sacramento were among the disappointed teams.
Further down the projected top 10, Chicago lands Duke’s Cameron Boozer at No. 4, Dallas gets 7-foot-3 Michigan center Aday Mara at No. 9, and Milwaukee takes Arizona guard Brayden Burries at No. 10.
