Darren Cann Urges 6-Yard Corner Ban After VAR Call in Arsenal's 5-Point Title Lead

Former Premier League assistant referee Darren Cann proposed barring attackers from the six-yard box until a corner is taken, arguing it would stop pre-restart grappling that officials cannot properly punish.
Sunday's flashpoint came when West Ham's late equaliser against Arsenal was overturned after VAR sent Chris Kavanagh to the monitor and Pablo was judged to have fouled David Raya.
Cann said the current law leaves referees stuck because the ball is not yet in play, so they cannot award a penalty or indirect free kick for jostling before the corner.
The disallowed goal helped keep Arsenal five points clear in the title race, with Manchester City still holding a game in hand before facing Crystal Palace on Wednesday.
Will banning attackers from the six-yard box end corner chaos or just create new controversies for VAR?
Why not strictly enforce existing grappling rules instead of adding another complex regulation for officials to manage?
