  • May 13-June 10 brings Diablo Immortal’s StarCraft crossover, “Battle for Beyond,” with Zerg-infested Elder Rifts, a Tal’Darim boss fight and faction-based Conqueror matches tied to weekly leaderboards.
  • Four weeks of reward cycles let players claim a StarCraft avatar frame, the 2-star Baneboil legendary gem, Kerrigan weapon transmogs, a themed portal and other milestone loot through event activities.
  • A permanent update also unlocks all 8 gear slots for every player, while Versatile Rings become standard for new 3+2 and 3+3 drops and Battleground rewards rise roughly 50%-100%, including 1 Normal Gem per run.
  • Blizzard is also overhauling progression by removing the Ancestral Tableau and Helliquary upgrade systems, shifting Combat Rating growth to Paragon levels and refunding invested materials so post-update ratings do not fall.
With combat rating tied to levels, is Diablo Immortal's infamous grind finally a thing of the past?
