Joel Embiid said he is "as confident as I've ever been" in his health after Philadelphia's 144-114 Game 4 loss to New York completed a second-round sweep.
The 76ers star said his recent playoff limitations stemmed more from an emergency appendectomy and its aftereffects than from the left knee that held him to 38 games this season.
Embiid missed Game 2 against the Knicks with hip and ankle injuries, then labored through the rest of the series after Tyrese Maxey fell into his legs late in Game 7 against Boston.
Philadelphia's season again ended short of the conference finals despite its first-round comeback from 3-1 down against the Celtics; Embiid has averaged 49 games over 10 seasons, and the franchise's conference finals drought reached 25 years.
