Tuesday’s parliamentary sitting will receive an advisory report from Speaker Thoko Didiza that will underpin a revived impeachment committee investigation into President Cyril Ramaphosa.
The submission follows a May 8 Constitutional Court ruling ordering parliament to restart the impeachment process, forcing lawmakers to reopen a probe that had stalled.
Ramaphosa and African National Congress officials met Didiza on Monday, a day before the filing, as parliament prepared to act on the court’s order.
