Shift Up said in its latest financial report that the Stellar Blade sequel will be self-published and aimed at a broad global audience from day one, signaling a simultaneous multi-platform release.
The studio tied that plan to maximizing the IP's long-term value and said it is still exploring platform expansion for the original 2024 game, which launched as a PS5 exclusive under Sony.
Shift Up also said it will keep sales of the first Stellar Blade going through seasonal promotions and strategic discounting while it evaluates additional platform launches.
The update reinforces comments Shift Up made in February and follows earlier earnings disclosures showing Stellar Blade generated 12.9 billion won in Q1 2026, underscoring why the company is broadening the franchise beyond PlayStation.
