Scotiabank to Serve SBI Canada’s High-Net-Worth Clients in Referral Deal

Scotia Wealth Management will provide advisory, investment-management and private-banking services to high-net-worth clients of SBI Canada Bank under a new referral arrangement.
The deal lets Scotiabank and State Bank of India broaden local client coverage in Canada, where SBI Canada already offers retail, commercial and corporate banking.
Scotiabank said the services will be delivered through Scotia Jarislowsky Fraser, ScotiaMcLeod and its private-banking group, extending its reach into SBI Canada’s affluent client base.
