A new Crimson Desert update lets players extract upgrade materials at the Smithy, refunding common materials at 70% and returning Abyss Artifacts and Aeserion’s scale in full by rank.
That directly eases a major gear-build bottleneck, since one upgraded item can consume six Abyss Artifacts and alternate loadouts had been costing players heavily in skill points.
Seven tameable mounts were added—Mountain Goats, Kuku Birds, Iguanas, Raptors, Camels, Lions and Tigers—along with species-specific saddles sold at different in-game saddleries.
The patch also adds a Sigil of Valor that makes dogs attack enemies, new unarmed skills for Oonkga, a claw machine with Abyss rewards, and an optional night-tone visual setting.
