₹2,307.30 marked Hindustan Unilever's close on Monday, up 0.85% in a broadly weak session and ahead of key consumer-goods peers.
The gain came as the BSE Sensex fell 1.70% to 76,015.28, while Jyothy Laboratories dropped 9.26%, Godrej Consumer Products lost 3.02% and Procter & Gamble Hygiene slipped 0.31%.
101,279 shares changed hands, below the stock's 50-day average volume of 122,952.
Hindustan Unilever still finished 15.69% below its 52-week high of ₹2,736.63 reached on Sept. 4, showing the stock remains well off peak levels despite Monday's outperformance.
