The Bank of England Monetary Policy Committee member said on the Odd Lots podcast that repeated shocks keep her focused on upside inflation risks.
She said monetary policy is limited against supply-side disruptions, citing Covid fallout, supply-chain problems, Brexit, the trade war, and wars in Ukraine and Iran.
