Unitus offered up to 50 million won in additional payments, and its full strike ended as talks resumed over the planned first-half sale to France's OP Mobility.
The proposal says jobs, wages, personnel, attendance and welfare systems would largely transfer, while Hyundai IHL was told employment relations and collective agreements would remain unchanged after the stake sale.
OP Mobility said it would keep Hyundai IHL's Gyeongju plant and Unitus' Gimcheon plant operating, but some unions still oppose the restructuring and plan a protest outside Hyundai Mobis headquarters on 13 May.
