Japan Property Mgmt reports higher first-quarter net profit

For the quarter ended 31 March, net profit rose to Y575 million from Y514 million, while revenue increased to Y14.95 billion from Y14.47 billion.
Operating profit climbed to Y832 million from Y716 million, pretax profit to Y841 million from Y719 million, and earnings per share to Y34.42 from Y30.06.
The company said the results were prepared under Japanese accounting standards, with the latest report showing broad year-on-year improvement across sales and profitability.
