Mercari reports nine-month net profit rises to Y19.43 billion

For the nine months ended 31 March, revenue rose to Y167.29 billion from Y144.07 billion, while operating profit increased to Y34.52 billion from Y20.34 billion.
Pretax profit climbed to Y34.66 billion from Y21.67 billion, and earnings per share rose to Y117.93 from Y71.49, with diluted EPS at Y114.82.
The Japanese company said the results were prepared under IFRS accounting standards, showing broad year-on-year improvement across sales, profitability and shareholder earnings.
