The Japanese company posted net profit of Y804 million for the quarter ended 31 March, up from Y558 million, while revenue increased to Y11.14 billion from Y10.97 billion.
Operating profit more than doubled to Y537 million from Y247 million, and pretax profit rose to Y1.15 billion from Y852 million.
Earnings per share increased to Y23.67 from Y16.43, with the results prepared under Japanese accounting standards.
