The Japanese company posted net profit of Y707 million for the year ended 31 March, while revenue rose to Y37.17 billion from Y36.25 billion.
Operating profit fell to Y1.07 billion from Y1.95 billion, pretax profit dropped to Y1.13 billion from Y2.07 billion, and earnings per share declined to Y47.69 from Y79.84.
Kimura said the results were prepared under Japanese accounting standards, showing weaker profitability despite higher annual sales.
