Train hits Chevy Equinox on Cedar Rapids tracks

Cedar Rapids police said first responders were called to C Street Southwest near Tait Cummins Sports Complex at about 2:15 a.m. Sunday.
Officers found the SUV had been struck on the tracks, but the driver was not at the scene when police arrived.
No injuries were reported, and authorities said the crash remains under investigation.
