At their May 9 meeting in Moscow, Yuri Ushakov said the Slovak prime minister only recounted recent talks with Zelensky, including a May 4 face-to-face meeting in Yerevan.
Ushakov said Fico and Putin also discussed Ukraine, Russian-Slovak relations, energy supplies and reviving a bilateral intergovernmental cooperation commission suspended since 2021.
Fico was the only EU leader to visit Moscow for Victory Day, drawing criticism at home and abroad after a Slovak official had suggested he might help liaise between Kyiv and Moscow.
