Flytrex and Little Caesars launch drone delivery for full pizza meals

The service is live in Wylie, Texas, covering a four-mile zone and delivering up to two 16-inch pizzas, sides and drinks in about four-and-a-half minutes.
Flytrex said this is the first drone platform integrated directly with a restaurant point-of-sale system, using its Sky2 octocopter to carry orders up to 8.8 pounds.
The company says it has completed more than 200,000 US deliveries, with ongoing operations in North Carolina, as rivals including Wing, Amazon, Grubhub and Manna also expand.
