Netanyahu adviser Michael Eisenberg said Hamas is breaching a 20-point US-backed plan by refusing to surrender weapons and demilitarise Gaza.
He said all options remain open, contrasting an “easy way” of mediated disarmament with a “hard way” if Hamas stays armed or in government.
Eisenberg also said Iran must relinquish influence in Gaza, as Israel coordinates with Washington on wider regional talks involving Lebanon and Iran’s nuclear and missile programmes.
