The singer and actress said she runs for an hour, practises guitar at least three hours daily, avoids smoking and drugs, and limits sugar, gluten and fried foods.
She also recommended vegetables, stretching, good posture, sun protection and flamenco dancing for bone health, while saying positive thinking and staying active help her feel youthful.
Charo, who follows a vegetarian diet and recently received Farm Sanctuary's Compassionate Impact Award, said she is recording a new album and will begin a tour in June.
