PTCL internet slows nationwide during submarine cable maintenance

PTCL said disruption is expected across Pakistan from 11 to 18 May, with evening-hour degradation likely as an international cable consortium repairs a fault.
The company announced the scheduled work in a social media post and apologised for inconvenience to customers affected by reduced connectivity.
It would be the second such degradation in two months after PTCL carried out similar maintenance from 14 to 20 April.
