At Cork's Metropole Hotel, participants received one-to-one mentoring, interview clothing, apprenticeship information and preparation tools to help them return to work.
The service day was supported by JP Morgan Chase, Penneys/Primark and Ireland's public employment service, Intreo, as WorkEqual expands its free services nationwide in 2026.
Over the past year, WorkEqual said it helped more than 821 new clients, with 143 securing jobs by Christmas and another 47 reporting employment in 2026.
