Kuwaiti armed forces detect hostile drones in airspace

The drones were detected early Sunday, and Defence Ministry spokesperson Col. Saud Abdulaziz Al-Atwan said the military responded under established procedures.
Authorities gave no further details on the drones' origin or where in Kuwait they were intercepted, leaving the scale and source of the incursion unclear.
The incident follows an April 24 attack in which two explosive-laden drones entered from Iraq and struck two northern border posts; Kuwait did not identify those responsible.
