At Fairway to Hell in West Palm Beach, Florida, Don Callis distracted the referee before Ricochet struck Jack Perry with a golf club, allowing Davis to hit a piledriver for the pin.
The title change came in Perry's fourth defence and a rematch of their first championship meeting at April's Dynasty, while the finish extended Perry's feud with Ricochet and the Callis camp.
Afterwards, Perry vowed revenge and said he would join Chris Jericho, the Young Bucks and Kenny Omega against the Callis Family and Ricochet in a looming multi-man showdown.
