The 39-year-old faces two counts over incidents on Tuesday and Wednesday near Andrew's Sandringham home in Norfolk, and is due for trial on 29 July at Westminster Magistrates' Court.
Police said officers arrested a man on suspicion of a public order offence and possession of an offensive weapon after Andrew was allegedly shouted at while walking his dogs.
Jenkinson, who appeared remotely from King's Lynn with his arm in a sling, was granted bail with exclusion zones around Norfolk and several royal residences, and Andrew is expected to give evidence.
