Attorney General Keith Ellison also sued former board president Jaclyn McGuigan, alleging government violence-prevention funds in Minneapolis were diverted to Pollard's personal expenses and businesses.
The complaint says nonprofit money paid workers at Pollard's former Merwyn Liquors site, child support, tax bills and purchases including Harley-Davidson and pool-and-spa items.
Ellison says the pair tried to conceal misconduct during the investigation; after a new board cut off Pollard, he launched a competing for-profit business and We Push for Peace ceased operating.
